ADDITIONAL DETAILS

SCHEDULE ON OCTOBER 10, 2018
We will start in the morning at 9:00AM. The meeting place will be at Galvanize New York office, 303 Spring Street, New York, NY 10013. Please arrive promptly at 9:00AM.

Aisin guests will do a cultural presentation about Japan. We will then provide a short orientation. You will get to meet your group of Aisin guests for the Buddy Activity (sightseeing tour). The Buddy Activity will be in small groups of 6-9 people. Each group will have a different itinerary. If time permits, we’ll do a quick icebreaker activity before you head out for the sightseeing tour.

After the orientation, you can lead your assigned group to your assigned itinerary. Your lunch and admission fees will be paid by the Aisin guests. Please make sure to time your activities carefully so you get to visit most if not all the activities listed.

At the end of the Buddy Activity, all groups will gather at one central location at Galvanize New York office, 303 Spring Street, New York, NY 10013. Please arrive promptly at 3:15PM.

Groups will be given about 15 minutes to prepare for a 3 to 5-minute informal presentation about their Buddy Activity experience.

We will end the day with closing remarks.

ATTIRE
Please remember that you will be leading a group of guests so make sure to wear a clean, non-sloppy, no-holes clothing. No revealing, provocative and skimpy clothing. Wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers as the program requires a lot of walking/running.

COMMUNICATION TOOL
Make sure that you have regular Wi-Fi access because we are planning to communicate using WhatsApp. There are a lot of secured, high-speed Internet access points in NYC (see https://www.link.nyc for more info). Make sure to install the app on your phone.
